The present paper, an analysis of Indian education literature has been presented using its publication output in international peer reviewed journals covered in Web of Science database. It analyses India’s publication activity in terms productivity for the period 2008-2017. The paper also explores the various aspects of the research area. The database provided 919 records and received 2,372 citations, with 2.58 an average citations per paper during the period. This paper attempt to provide the growth of literature using scientometric tools in field of education over the span of ten years.
