Surveys are great for getting a broad picture of ideas. As long as we are designed carefully, you can create an overview of them, how we use the site and their opinions of it, with an idea of which parts of this picture are more important than others. By using a limited amount of open-ended questions, you can also get some more qualitative insights on your ideas.
