Bibliometric Scenario of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow during 2010-2014

This study attempts to highlight the bibliometric facets of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow during 2010 to 2014. SCOPUS was chosen as source database for the present study from where data were exported. Finally 322 papers were found in the result during 2010 to 2014. Out of these 322 papers exported for the study 77.02% were the research articles. Environmental Science was identified as the most preferred subject area of research with 60(18.63%) papers sharing, and Bhadauria, B. S. was recognized as the most productive author with 33(10.25%) publications. Basing upon the h-index of the authors De Visser, S.P. is in the top of the list with h-index 17. Advanced Science Letters was discovered as most preferred journals by researchers with 13(4.04%) contributions. University of Lucknow was the top most collaborative institution and Malaysia was the top collaborative country with 13(4.04%) publications. Degree of collaboration among authors was 0.94. The paper entitled 'Thermo chemical conversion of biomass Ecofriendly energy routes' by Panwar, N. L., Kothari, R., and Tyagi, V. V. was identified as most cited paper with 47 Citations. Other aspects that were indentified in the study were most preferred source type, citation pattern and implication of Bradford's law on literature scattering.
