AUTHORSHIP STUDIES OF TRENDS IN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, 2008-2012

The present study deals with the authorship analysis of 68 articles of the journal of 'Trends in Information Management' published during 2008-2012. It studies year wise distribution of articles, authorship pattern, degree of authors' collaboration, distribution of authors by profession, country and Indian states and citation pattern in the journal. Result shows that joint author collaboration is dominant. The degree of authors' collaboration has ranged from 0.14 to 0.6. Foreign author contribution is 28%. Among the Indian states, authors from Jammu & Kashmir has ranked top having 51.1% of contributions. About 78% of authors published their papers with more than 10 number of citations.
