The entire world is going through covid 19 pandemic as a result every institution, industry has badly affected. In these challenging times, libraries have been gateways for accurate information&source of Knowledge for conducting research. This paper emphasizes the need for online learning platforms during covid 19. It also identifies the advocacy role taken up by libraries and library professionals. It traces the various digital platforms made available in India. This paper highlights the important projects carries out byGovernment of India for online learning. The paper also explores the challenges experienced during covid 19 and are transformed into opportunities.
