This study explores the adequacy of library collections in the Kendriya Vidyalayas of Chennai Region. Seven schools from Chennai region were selected for the study. Questionnaire-based survey method was used for the study. Data analysis revealed that the resources available in the Kendriya Vidyalaya libraries are appropriate and relevant to satisfy the needs of the student community. The study observed that majority of the students are satisfied with the overall collection of the Kendriya Vidyalaya libraries of Chennai region. The study noted that the library collection is adequate to support the syllabus.
