This article talks about the Digital Information Resources and its subsequent use by the students and research scholars in the Digital Information Resources Center (DIRC) set up at the Mysore University Library. Presently, the university library subscribes to more than 7000 full text e-journals facilitated through UGC-INFONET by INFLIBNET published by many commercial and society publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Wiley-Blackwell, Taylor and Francis, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, etc., which are available to its patrons About 10 bibliographic and citation databases, including Web of Science, MathSciNet, and JCCC@UGC-INFONET, etc. facilitates in searching of literature in journals published by different publishers. About 18,000 e-books by commercial publishers like Springer, Wiley, T & F, and CRC-Netbase are available on a perpetual access basis. The significant feature is its Web-OPAC, which can be accessed by anyone across the country.
