The present study applied citation analysis method to examine the use of information resources byPeriodontists.The source journal ‘Annals and Essences of Dentistry’ published 356 research articles with a total 9 years from 2009-2017 and 5146 citations were examined according to: identify the growth of journal articles by year wise and volumes of the source journal, To identify various bibliographic forms of cited literature byPeriodontists, To preparemost frequently cited journals by Periodontists,and to know the country wise distribution of cited journals. The study shows that journals and books are most used sources for information.
